Martine Pekarsky, founder of twins specialist store, Think Twins, remembers the moment she and her husband were told during their 7wk scan that there were 'two heartbeats'. First it was sheer delight, then fear set in. At that point Martine says she wouldn't have known what to do with one baby, let alone two. It was the experiences Martine gained through her pregnancy and first year of the twins life that inspired the creation of Think Twins.
Many twin-mums-to-be will be given advice such as; be prepared, don't be afraid to ask for help and support, stay organised and join a twins club.
